Towards the end of his reign Kersobleptes began raiding macedonian
cities. He was supported by his earlier rival and loyal subject of
Philip II Teres (Τήρης), son of Amodokos (Αμόδοκος). Teres changed over
because he felt that Philip's power was increasing too rapidly and
hoped that the struggle would win him his independence. |
