was a second one with a very elaborate 'countermark': the reverse
legend was oblitarated by a ring-shaped punch with (the revised
inscription quoted above). [RPC I p. 488]
2995 As 2994 but obv. inscription restruck as above and reverse inscription restruck: ΓΑΙΩ ΑΣΙΝΝΙΩ ΠΩΛΛΙΩΝΙ ΑΝΘΥΠΑΤΩ. [RPC I p. 489] The coin shown here suggests that the central piece was overstruck after the restriking of the reverse inscription ! Copenhagen V 518 (no dating); RPC I
