o'clock VF Jugate heads right. Cornucopia between piloi of the Dioskouroi with stars above; ANA / ΔΩN below. The reverse type was used at a variety
of mints in the Black Sea region during the early period of Mithradates
VI of Pontos: Pontos Amaseia SHH 3406, 5452; Amisus SHH 216, 2924, 3040, 3479;
Paphlagonia Sinope SHH 4943.
The inscription is quoted by CNG 84/516
as ΛIA-ΔΩ[...] (SHH v4461). In this specimen the N is clearly
identifiable and traces of an A at the beginning and an N at the end
are recognisable.
