Christ standin facing on dais; wearing nimbus cruciger,with pellet in each arm,
pallium and colobium, and raising right hand in benediction; in left hand book of gospels;
IC / XC with overbar on either side of nimbus; star on either side; double border of dots.
Manuel bearded on left and St. Theodore bearded and nimbate on right;
both standing facing; they hold between them patriarchal cross with globus at base;
the emperor wears crown, divitision and loros and holds sheathed sword in right hand;
the saint is clad in military attire and holds sheathed sword in left hand;
MA / NOV /HΛ / Ο ΘΕΟΔω / Ρ[ΟS] clockwise to left and right; double border of dots.
