Half figures of Ioannes on left and the Virgin on right, both standing facing, holding long patriarchal cross between them, with pellet on lower part of the shaft; the emperor holds scroll in right hand; ΔECΠ in left field, ΘV above head of Virgin and MHP to right, both with overbars; double border of dots.
